What I Didn't Say

As parents we paint the world through rose colored lens only highlighting our fantasied good. Our job is to protect, guide, and nurture our gifts. However, we do our children a disservice by not sharing the future reality. There's so much we teach, but there's a lot we didn't say:

What I Didn't Say:

What I didn't say,  I never told you the world is laced with people who display conditional love.

What I didn't say,  I never told you the insecurities of others will sometimes make you question the authenticity of you.

What I didn't say,  I never told you that the skin you're in will cause unwarranted barriers to dismantle the gift of your beautiful mind.

What I didn't say,  I never told you that you will cause others to tremble and stumble with your strong sense of self-assurance and tenacity.

What I didn't say,  I never told you morals and values might not be of common core among family and friends.

What I didn't say,  I never told you that your body is the embodiment of peace, only allow souls saturated in love dwelling.

What I didn't say,  I never told you your life was predestined. All questions, worries, and or concerns will be revealed in a whisper of the wind. Listen carefully and attentively, for that's where serenity lies.

What I Didn't Say
